ABOUT
Francesca Patella (Bologna/Amsterdam) is letterpress printer, teacher, photographer, designer of books, CD covers, posters and exhibitions, with a strong passion for details. From the moment she stepped into GWA Grafische Werkplaats Amsterdam five years ago, she became addicted to the ink, the letters and the printing presses. Since then, she has been making work in small editions with wooden letters, numbers, lead letters and stencils – both her own work and on commission.
